Induction

In my last appointment Dr said that baby weight is quite high so what do you want induction or cesearen I tell her I wanna go with induction then a lady I meet she told me not to go for induction as that are very painful and ended up in cesearen. I was afraid and tell the midwife wanna go with cesearen directly instead of induction then she make appointment with the Dr after two days and they did scan and said everything is normal baby weight is in normal range you don't need c section and forced me to go for induction now I'm very afraid of being induced 😞😞😞😞😭😭😭😭

They can’t force you to be induced. You can elect to have a c section for no other reason than you just want one, if you want to. You just have to be firm with them. I had a terrible induction that ended in a c section but plenty of people have very smooth inductions that go fine so don’t panic either way :)

I have to get induced too. Everyone's experience is different. I feel like if you have a chance to birth your baby vaginally then take the chance. If it ends up in a c-section anyway, then at least you tried. Watch positive labor inductions on youtube

they told me my baby was measuring big from my scans but he arrived 1 day before his due date weighing only 6lbs 12oz, my waters went the day prior so i had to have a hormone drip as we both had an infection x

You can’t be forced to be induced. If you don’t want it you can decline

I almost had a c section as I was 42 weeks and still hadn't gone into spontaneous labour and I was petrified after so many horror stories of induction. My induction was not plain sailing and I ended up in theatre for forceps BUT if I had the choice again, I would still choose induction. My recovery was alot quicker then if I had c section. And people built up the induction to be horrific it really wasn't. Don't be scared, you are sooo much stronger then you think you are and its amazing how much our bodies will take and then forget the moment your baby is in your arms x

I had a very positive induction experience and I think it’s an easier recovery. You should try the induction and if they have to do a C-section then they will do that. Labor is painful in general either way you look at it. Either you tough it out pushing or you have to tough out the recovery, so you choose your hard.

If your in normal range and not way over due date say no to being induced! I was induced (positive experience) but only because i had hypertension if it wasnt for that i was going to go naturally and wait aslong as my baby needed Stay strongg x

Just refuse and go natural I was told my baby was big put through the worst induction lasting 4 days and baby was only 8.4 two days before due xx

Sounds like my story almost. I was told my baby went from 4.5lbs - 6.9lbs in a little over two weeks. Concerned she would be large by due date, recommended induction. Induction didn’t work and I ended up having an emergency c section. My daughter was 7.1lbs at birth. Birth weight while pregnant is not always accurate. Do what you feel is best for you x

Nobody ‘has’ to be induced. You always have a choice! And you have to give informed consent, it’s the law. Do you research while you’re pregnant so you know what to do should it come around. Induction rates are higher than ever at the moment and the majority of the time they end in a c-section because baby is not ready to be born.
