Hi all, my baby is about to turn 8 months old and he has 2 bottom teeth. They popped right after he turned 6 months old. How long after the bottom teeth popped did your little ones get their top teeth? He is showing signs of teething again but to me it looks like the bottom gums are swollen, not the top is it possible for the bottom teeth to grow before the top?

Ours’ bottom two popped out just before six months and is 8.5 and has no others still. He seems like he’s teething again, too. Yes, teeth can pop out wherever whenever, but it’s less common. They very often come in twos at first and are typically bottom front then top, but they can definitely be atypical.
My son had his bottom 2 around 6 months I believe and at 8 months his top 2 started to come in

Bottom came in at 4m and upper at 7m. Every baby is different
At 4 months my daughter had 2 bottom. 5m, 2 top. By 6m she had 8. 4 bottom 4 top.
