Birthday at nursery

If your child is in nursery will you give a goodie bag to the other kids on your LO's birthday? I've noticed lots of parents do this but not sure what I'd put in?! Most parents put like 2 or 3 little toys that are probs from poundland

In my daughter's nursery kids usually bring a cake to share (they don't eat it there but get to take their piece home)

We did goody bags last year and will be doing them soon again for our sons 2nd. We’re planning on giving them to his entire class plus the kids he knew who have moved up a class recently. Last year we put in a touch and feel dear zoo book, some maracas, a bubble bottle, some snacks and baby treats and a couple of animal hand puppets. This year we’re planning on doing a book that my son loves (most likely Zog), some toddler friendly snacks (thinking the kiddalicious crispy tiddlers, coconut rolls and vegetable crisps), some stickers (either car, train or aeroplane themed or Zog themed), some bubbles, maybe a small colouring book with crayons, a pot of normal sized play doh and either a couple of toy cars or a train depending on what I can find.

The nursery usually bake a cake and the kids all have a slice at tea time which is nice
