Waking up at 5am 😭

Wondering if anyone has advice! Baby is almost 11 months old. We start bedtime routine at 6:30 but lately not asleep until 7:30. Wakes up maybe once in the night and needs soother and some comforting. During the day, naps twice and naps usually total 2-3 hours. But often is waking up at 5am and reeeeally doesn't want to go back to sleep. And yeeesh this is early for me. If wakes up at 6, I'm like fair enough we can get up but 5am is rough. Anyone experience this? Is it a phase? Should I try changing a routine?

My baby is an early riser too!! We basically have same schedule over here but she goes to bed around 830 and wakes up around 6-630. Maybe you could push bedtime back a bit? I see people dropping to one nap, but I don’t think my baby would be ready for that

Mine usually wakes around 5/530 I give him milk and he goes back to sleep until 630/7

You may need to increase the wake window before bedtime? Not sure how long your bedtime routine is but 6:30 is early, the sleep psychologist we worked with said to never have bedtime before 6:45 to avoid super early mornings. Can you shift things so bedtime routine is 6:45-7ish?

My eldest had a phase where she did this for awhile. She eventually started sleeping in later. Try to give some milk or just continue laying in bed/trying to get him to sleep again. If it doesn't work then it might be something that you will have to ride out.

My daughter was 11 months on the 24th and she still does not sleep thrpugh the night. I wish I could get as many hours consecutively.

@Joline what is she waking up for? Cuddles or milk? Do you sleep with her?

I do feed when baby wakes up a 5 and really doesn't seem like he'll go back to sleep on his own. Sometimes after feeding he'll fall back asleep but most of the time he doesn't. I'm going to try pushing bedtime a bit later and hopefully wake up pushes a bit later too!

@Joline He also wake up around 3am usually and needs help getting his soother back in. I feel ya!
