Really struggling with sleep regression

I'm really exhausted. For the past four nights baby has gone down to bed between 7:30 and 8:30 and I've had to soothe back to sleep every 30mins until 2.30 then baby has slept consistently until around 6.30. last night baby didn't sleep properly until 4.30. we've gone back to her sleeping on my chest, because I need to get some sleep. My mental health is awful when I have little sleep. I really, really struggled for the first 6 weeks. Can anyone recommend any help? I can't let my little one cry it out, but I've heard the regression can last six weeks and I don't think I can cope with that. Honestly just want to sit and cry. I'm dreading bed time.

This sounds like me but we have wakings every hour or half hour at some point in the night, mostly just to suck on boob for a bit then go back to sleep. It's a tough time and I'm surviving on 10 mins 'rest' here and there in between feedings and wakings at night. All I can say is ensure you are eating properly and keeping hydrated and have some electrolytes to keep you going through this tough time. If you haven't already tried: offer a dummy, start a sleep association routine that doesn't require a pick up or contact nap such as bum pats, forehead rubs, gentle humming, white noise, rocking, plenty of daytime activities and independent play to move their limbs or oil massage before bedtime to let them get the energy out, daily exposure to outside world after they wake so they know it is daytime and encourage their body to produce melatonin, and if you have a safe sleep environment look into Co sleeping. This phase will pass !

Exactly the same… can’t have more than one hour uninterrupted sleep.
