Taking Cara babies? Is it worth it?

My guy is almost 8 months and we have been cosleeping since birth basically. Grandma and grandpa watch him two days a week while my partner and I work (only for like 4 hours max) but they cannot get my son to go down for a nap for the life of them. I want to at least be able to set my son down in his crib for a nap during the day and I understand I may have to sleep train him at night as well. Breaks my mom heart because I absolutely love sleeping next to him and now I find it hard to sleep if he’s not there 😭🙄 So is taking Cara babies worth it? Should I just say fuck it and pay for it? Or are there other methods that worked better for you? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you ❤️

My friend used it swear by it, I used her online free guidelines and swear by then, she’s amazing and knows how to help every situation

I’ve tried it and it didn’t work for me

No, you’re basically paying £200 for her to tell you to do controlled crying

No idea what Cara babies is tbh but from what I've read seems you don't want to do traditional sleep training. Cher at tired_baby_sleep (insta) is a sleep coach who is truly gentle (I have paid for the membership and there is 0 crying involved). I still feed to sleep but my baby now accepts pushchair Naps and sleeps better at night. Its expensive but sometimes you do just need that support if you can afford to pay.

Its basically leaving baby to cry and checking in on them. So sad. She says if they throw up, go in quietly, and clean up puke without consoling baby and put them back down 😭

@Kimberly wow 😳 confused as to why that's in this group then as clearly NOT a gentle sleep solution! Poor babies 😞

Nobody said I’m gonna leave my child to cry until he pukes. Chill ladies. Jesus Christ. SOME things work for SOME families and some don’t. Pretty sure the point of this app is to offer advice, not chastise someone for doing what works for them.

Aw I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way at all. I didn't know what it was so think Kimberly was just explaining it to both of us before you bought it. You also said any advice is appreciated so that's why I commented. I only said it because it's in this group and obviously that part of her programme isn't very gentle!
