Rubbing nose and eyes

My LO is constantly rubbing his eyes and nose-especially nose. Should I be concerned?

Does he have allergies?? It is that season

@Ke’Erica I was thinking maybe, but there’s no other symptoms.

Yes it could be that because my daughter was sneezing and having a runny nose . The grass was cut recently and her allergies flared up, he should be fine no worries, mamas.

If things get worse just make him an appointment so he can get some meds for his allergies..

my daughter tends to rub her eyes and pull on her ears when she's tired

My daughter rubs her eyes and nose when she's tired, she also rubs her eyes when she has allergies

My daughter's pediatrician basically said babies don't get allergies in the same sense we do for the first year of life and you could give allergy medicine but it's really unnecessary and they can potentially be harmful to infants. She gave me a prescription for meds but said don't give it regularly only on the rare occasion she seems like she really needs it. I've never given it to her because of the possible side effects.

Could be teething. My son's been rubbing his eyes and nose ALL DAY lately and he's cutting two teeth

My baby does this when he’s overtired and when he’s teething!

@Kelsey @Bethany @Alexis it all makes sense now! He has no teeth and has been drooling a lot. I hope a tooth finally comes in!

My baby was teething since 3 months and just got his first one this month 😂 he was definitely rubbing his face more this last couple weeks!

@Bethany it’s crazy how long it takes for some babies ugh 😩 .
