Leaking nappies

So we’ve just Pampers for months and months with no real issues with leaking but the last 4 nights in a row she’s woken up wet in the morning. The first 2 nights she was in premium nappy pants which she doesn’t usually wear but they were the only ones on offer. So I thought it could be that so bought some of the normal ones (red packet) and it’s happened again last night. She slept 12 hours the first 2 nights as well which is more than normal so thought it could be that but last night she had her happy on for about 9 hours ish because she woke just before 5 because of it. The size is right, she’s 15kg and in size 5 which is 12-17kg, do we think doubling up with a normal nappy and then a pampers might help? I don’t want to waste them so I’m reluctant to buy more though the size is right for her 🤦🏼‍♀️

We double up at night with a cheap taped nappy on top. He wakes up wet through otherwise x

@Emma thanks, we don’t have any taped ones but thinking I might try his normal Tesco pull up over the top

Try get the 5+ ones they are more absorbent xx

Is she wearing a vest with poppers at night? If that’s too small it can make nappies leak where they can’t expand enough xx

@Harriet no just a baby grow and sleep bag!

Nappy pants I find only last 2-3 hours as I put my son in one before he napped one day and woke up to the fact he soaked himself and the pushchair.

We found that the normal pampers nappy pants were leaking almost every night and months ago we decided to try the pampers night time ones and haven't had any problems since! Not sure what the difference is but they seem to hold more wee without leaking. They are more expensive at £12 a pack but we stopped having to change her in the night so the pack lasts a full month (nearly). Asda often have them on offer at £6 so may be worth trying them xx

@Beth O’Connor I just buy a pack of the taped ones cos they're cheaper than pants 🤣

My daughter is 13kg and in size 6 and never leaks. I don’t follow the size gauges. Try sizing up would be my advice xx
