Sicky baby

I’m at my wits end, anyone else have a sicky baby? She’s been sicky since she was born I know it’s very common & completely normal thing but I’m just exhausted she burps and even when she’s got wind up she’s still sick after a birth, she’ll wake up from a sleep not having feed for hours & be sick a little, she wakes up a bit earlier for her feeds sometimes to so I worry it’s cuz she’s not full enough due to the sickness. It’s not projectile vomit btw. A lot of the time it is genuinely just milk her spitting it out after being burped but other times it is thick pieces of sick We had our 8 week check on Wednesday at doctors spoke to him about it all then he said she doesn’t have any symptoms or anything happening that he’s concerned with so I’m pleased of course & he said nothing points to the need to change her milk as it is just the sick that’s it. But I’m exhausted get through so many outfits , bibs & muslins because of it. I just don’t know how it keeps happening everyday every feed even when she’s got her wind up it’s just a lot.

Babies are just sick a lot, their oesophagus isn’t developed, only time will change that. Stick with simple sleepsuits and keep them upright as long as possible after a feed.

My daughter is the same she’s also got colic and reflux though which is a nightmare she will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday x

Spitting up is normal for a baby I’m afraid. They do outgrow it eventually.

@D yeah that’s what doctors said I’m just worried she’s not gonna put weight on and not get enough milk she’s been sick today way more than normal so much x

@Sarah mine was 8 weeks on Monday I just worry she’s not getting enough today has been way worse never normally this bad x

I’m the same always worry that’s what we do as mothers my other daughter is almost 4 and I still worry about her aswell when she doesn’t eat much xx

@Sarah what do you do to help her reflux? Xx

She’s been prescribed some medication but doesn’t really seem 2 be helping got 2 see how she gets on with it and if still no better the doctor said take her back and they will see what else they can do xx

My baby is 4 weeks old and has been the same always sick after feeds and even a few hours after when lay flat or put in car seat etc she also has colic and trapped wind so night times are soo hard and her reflux seems to be worse. I’m giving it another week and then im going to trial adding a small amount of carobel to her feeds or changing her formula to a comfort or anti reflux one
