Help find the "one"!!

Bit of a weird one but ive got the name Mae/the sound of Mae on my mind but not on its own, rather, as part of a name. Something like Mabry, Maebelle but not quite those. Mabry sounds too much like maybe and Maebelle doesnt look quite right written down. What names can you come up with that have Mae or the Mae sound if not spelt Mae?

I know it's not quite Mae but I think Mabel is such a a cute name and I also think Maebelle is so cute as well. Look into southern names with Mae or May. They tend to be somewhat double names but they def have a nice ring to them.

Maeve. 😍

i agree that Maebelle doesn't look right, but you could go with Mabel as a spelling - same pronounciation, so still has the "Mae" sound at the beginning of the name. Maeve Maeva Maevry Maegan Maevelyn Maeverly Maelyn Maisie Macy/Maci Maya 💕

Maybe not what you’re after but what about Bella-Mae or Ellie-Mae? Georgia-Mae?

@Madelina ♡ they would be pronounced slightly differently here. Maebelle would be may-bell. Mabel would be may-ball

Mae’Leigh

I knew a little girl called Maybeline once, if you can look past the make-up brand being called that I think it's very pretty. Another one I can think of is Mayrina but idk if that's something you'd like

ah, okay - that makes sense! maybe worth considering though, as Mabel prounced "May-Ball" still has that "Mae" sound you wanted. 💕

Our backup name for my daughter was Ella Mae.

I had a student a few years ago called Maia, pronounced May-ah, and her name always stuck with me. Not gonna lie I pronounced it wrong so many times at first, Mia, Mya etc but I think the spelling is gorgeous too

I have Esmae pronounced as Ezmay 💗

I like Maezikeen and maevis

Mavie

Mabel Esmae Macy Maisie Maelie Maeva/Maeve
