I don’t know where to turn

So, LO is 10 weeks and is now trialing Nutramigen suspected CMPA/lactose from Kendamil comfort, granted this post is in the first 36 hours of the swap so I know it takes time! Both me and my partner have issues with lactose and cows milk. She was switched over due to being extremely constipated going once every 2/3 days and when she went it was like a back up of those days in one poop and getting super uncomfortable and mucousy/liquid poops😢 She was also projectile vomiting 2/3 times a day getting upset before, sick, then clearly feeling better. I know it’s only been a day or so but already no projectile vomiting and pooping better (granted runny but a change of milk so not worried) HOWEVER When burping through feed she’s spitting up more but getting quite upset by it and then is quite upset after a feed, it’s like she’s got heartburn ?? Is it because it’s thinner? I’ve seen about baby gavisgon but I’m worried it’ll constipate her again? Will it get better in time and it’s just the first few days ? It just weeks of battling seeing her upset and I’m struggling😢

My LO was the exact same with the spit up/sick there was crazy amounts coming up. It has all eased down now, started seeing the difference around day 10 xx

The thickness of the milk will affect spit up and reflux, in terms of seeing a difference, it can take upto 6 weeks for babies bellies to detox from the cows milk protein and symptoms can often get worse before they get better! It’s a pain, in terms of the poops, they will MASSIVELY vary in consistency and they may become green and absolutely stink but this is normal don’t worry, but it’s just something that we have to persevere with! If it doesn’t help they may need an amino acid based one formula xxx
