Elective C section

How long did it take you to recover from an elective C section? How long til you could do a walk or go for a meal? I have never done a large amount of exercise so this doesn’t bother me but I do enjoy a walk and would hate to miss out pushing my baby around in the summer

Literally days. The first few days are hard but after day 4 I could walk a short distance etc. Keep up with your medication even if you feel fine. Rest but doht sit for long periods of time. Walk short distances and gradually increase each day

Mine was an emergency but on day 5 I went to Aldi and did the weekly shop like nothing happened day 7 the midwifes did my wound check and couldn't believe how mobile I was and my day 14 i was fully back to normal
