Breastmilk production question

Hey yall I have a question. I’m 3 weeks PP and last week I was super sick and DayQuil wasn’t cutting it so I googled if mucinex was safe and it said yes so I took it for about 5 days. I lost all my milk ): I dried up and I used to pump OUNCES in one sitting and now I can barely get out one. Luckily my baby isn’t completely breastfed, she’s 75% formula/ 25% me but I still miss my milk. Any advice on how to produce more? I’m taking supplements and it doesn’t seem to really be working.

Fenugreek, brewers years, fennel

@Tasha my supplement has that in it ):

Try Oats (straight oatmeal, oatmeal cookies, etc.) and BodyArmor.

@Sarah okay!! Thank you!!

Just drink a lot of water and continue to pump even if little to none comes out. And be consistent, like every 2-3hrs so it can come back!!

You're only 3 weeks postpartum. You should still be able to increase supply relatively easily. Pump A Lot, keep baby close and nurse, brewers yeast, healthy diet all help.

Thank you ladies!!

Mother’s Milk tea! I’ve heard many great things about it and have taken it myself to help keep my supply up. I’d probably drink the higher end that they suggest. (Walmart and other stores carry it)

Hand expression works the best for me! Make yourself a schedule to use your pump or hand express or nurse and do it consistently until your supply comes back (should be several times a day- at least every 3-4 hours in my opinion) good luck!!
