Night wakes

I still get them every baby is different

It's normal for babies at this age to wake multiple times. My little boy is 6 months and wakes anywhere from 2 to 4/5 times per night. My daughter didn't sleep through until around 12 months. She's 2 now and still has nights where she wakes.

Same boat here! Miss is 6 months on the 2nd and can be anywhere from 2 to 5 wake ups. She is EBF, starting soil's soon so finger crossed that helps. My son was formula feed at this stage and he slept through by 5 months

Eeek… 4-5 wakings per night! That’s really rough ladies!

@Alana yeah I feel like my little guy wakes more than average for his age. But after already going through it with my daughter I don't get hung up on sleep this time round, I know it changes so much over the first year. Still jealous of people who have babies that naturally sleep through from an early age though 😅

@Alana no, I almost got him to self settle when he was a couple of months old, my daughter would just sit and play while I was putting him to sleep. But after a while she felt left out and would cry for me, which would stop him from sleeping. I'm on my own a lot, so the easiest way to put him to bed with my almost 2yo there is to feed to sleep, now I guess he has that association. My daughter did as well, she used to wake every 2hrs and slept through when I weaned her

@Estelle ah yeah, that would be hard trying to put two children to sleep. It sounds like you’ve worked out how to keep them both happy!
