My baby just doesn't sleep

Our LG is 7 months old and hasn't slept longer than 3/4 hours since last year now.. we are literally up currently every 25 minutes and we just don't know what to do. She's crying, so we comfort her in her cot and then she goes absolutely hysterical until we pick her up, screeching, breathe holding, just wild! Any advice or tips as qe are literally about to have a breakdown from sleep deprivation

No advice. But sleep here has been horrendous since the beginning of the year and is not improving. Reasons and patterns of wake ups seem to change every few weeks/days but it's overall rubbish and whole family is miserable

I downloaded Pampers sleep app to manage his day naps and it improved his night sleep. Xx

Is she in her own room ? What size cot do u have? Is it a next to me or a toddler cot bed?

We were the same since Feb. Moved her to her own room two weeks ago . That itself made a difference on first night where she did a 2. 5hrs stretch (used to be up 45 or 90mins before that). We also started gentle sleep training. It was really hard the first 5 nights. But doing these two things has massively improved her sleep. She did a 4.5hr stretch last night! I was in a really bad place due to sleep deprivation (breastfeeding every 30/45/90mins). We have also introduced her to bottles which has helped. I know even the thought of making these big changes is so scary. But hang in there and bite the bullet. It is so worth it.

To add, I have no issues with co sleeping/sleeping in same room/breastfeeding. But the constant wakes up really took a toll on me and I realised that those means were not sustainable for me anymore. Hence decision to own room+sleep train

@Meeta interesting, moving to his own room made no difference for my LO. He has always been bottle fed and I've started to do some 'sleep training' where I put him down earlier every time. It has helped to move from contact naps to having all naps in cot but he still needs some hand holding to fall asleep. Not sure what else to try...

How often and how much do you feed at night?

@Ina we are the same, really struggling with it and it's getting worse not better😔

@Nikita we've had to move to a toddler cot bed as she's too long for her next to me and kept previously waking herself hitting the sides, bit now she's just constantly up it sucks x
