Toddlers & food

Anyone else’s toddlers hardly eats their food? My 12 month old will probably eat a quarter of her meal or sometimes a few bites and the rest she will play with or throw on the floor where the dog will eat it …. she’s so picky!! If She doesn’t like something she will spit it out! My dad thinks she looks under weight but I give her 3 healthy meals a day + snacks . She likes the snacks more than her actual food like crackers or cereal but those don’t really add any nutritional value ….so frustrating 😭😭

My son who is 1 mainly eats biscuits like cookies and mix of biscuits mainly my child barely has veggies his super fussy my son only eats flavored steak as a chewy helps with teething pumpkin soup loves it Vegemite toast sometimes peanut butter minced devon in the jar hot chips like kfc etc pizza bases muffins cakes yoghurts Custard casserole nuggets from hungry jacks banana bread some fruit just depends what ones savoury breads like the ones you buy from woolies With pineapple Margarita etc garlic bread but he does not and will not have pasta not sure why you just have to keep being patient and still offer what they like other new things amd keep repeating the food she doesn't like. I've even got my son into childcare absolutely worth it he got so much better with his eating and his also seeing a specialist because his fussy etc.

Mine was the same she was eating constantly but hardly a hole meal. As far as they eat they are alright specially if you see him/her healthy. I remember calling my HV to make sure. They grow they change every feed month their habits. Hopefully this helped xx

Few*

My toddler will eat like 3 bites of her meal, say “more” 30 minutes later and then take another 3 bites and be done lol
