Help! Might be teething.

Hello! My baby is 4 months and at an early 3 months he already seemed to be teething but I definitely think at 4 months he’s now truly teething, the drools, fussiness, putting just about anything in his mouth, not to mention he LOVES it when I gently rub my finger in his month with the teething jelly. I was curious, is there anything and I mean anything that helped them? I’m really struggling especially since this is my first baby, we are seeing his pediatrician soon but I’d also like to know what everyone else is doing to get a second opinion.

Can you see teeth coming in?

@Mary Ann Not actual teeth but you can see the white coloring of teeth coming up close to the surface of his gums, if this makes sense

My little guy is in the exact same boat and he’s become VERY clingy with me. I’ve basically got to be holding him 24/7, he wont even nap if he’s not on me these days. I’m using the teething jelly as well and also use a pacifier that fills with water to be frozen and he loves to use that when he’s very fussy. He also loves the paci food feeders, so far we’ve introduced pears and bananas, I recommend freezing some purées in the paci part. <~ I dork know if your little one is ready for foods but if he is then I recommend the feeders, it also helps them get better coordination. Sorry this was really long just trying to be helpful 😅

Just cold clean cloth and yet thing toys or cold 🥶 teething rings try a frozen waffle when baby can sit up by self. The massage of gums with gum brush is good teething gel last about 20 minutes. Oh almost forgot we use the razberry pacifier it works sometimes

My baby's teeth popped through yesterday and was exactly how you described. He has a lot of teething toys (this is his favorite https://a.co/d/9qMMMQF) but I also give him the lowest dose of Tylenol when he is really miserable.

Teething toy like what Lexus posted. Frozen teethers. Breastmilk ice pop (google teetherpop, my daughter loves it).

i use a clean cloth that i got wet and put it in the freezer as well as a small teether thing that i put frozen milk in it. i use other honey remedies as well.

So everyone covered it but the easy to hold hand teether is a hit he literally gnaws on it 😭 I have some gel orajel didn’t do it and ppl said it can numb the throat so going to try a different one that says it’s doesn’t next. He had teething and then it went away and came back now. It’s off n on. Might try the melting tablets if it gets worse. The frozen feeder thing that you freeze and then pop in a Paci with holes basically! He loves it also good for when starting new food you can mix the purées with milk and freeze and do that also.
