Anyone else's baby's head measure really big?

Almost every appointment it's over the 99th percentile. I think it's made gross motor a little harder for her. Shes been very brave and trying to stand on her own. I'm surprised she is because so far for gross motor milestones it's taken her quite a bit longer than others to get there. No one's said anything about her head size? It's probably fine right? I'm just glad she was a c section

awe she’s so cute standing like a big girl! and yes i’m almost positive that if any of the doctors even thought it may be an actual issue for her health they would have let you known

Aww such a cutie. My dr brings up his concerns or anything he wants us to watch so I’m sure yours would too. But you could always ask next appointment. My daughter also has a big head (I blame her father lol). She is in the 96th percentile. I asked the dr about it and he said she’s just big lol. He did measure her head again but said he wasn’t concerned. I also had a c-section, so grateful. 🤣

So I just asked my pediatrician about this at the 12 month appointment. My son’s has measured in the 97th percentile since birth. Shirts barely fit him now because I struggle to get the collar over his massive head. Hats have never fit in his age range. The pediatrician said that if his head has measured larger consistently, he just has a big head. Nothing medically to worry about. If it had started in a smaller percentile and then increased rapidly over the year, it would be more of a concern.

@Dee❣️ I also blame my son’s father 😂 he has a massive head too. And no c-section for me 😭

@Hannah Bless you! The things these babies do to us 😂

my kids have big heads, but they’re big kids. my daughter is extremely tall and my son is just a big boy. they both got a damn NOGGIN on them 😂

Yes, my sons head is huge 😂 we have to stretch the holes in his shirts so we don’t suffocate him when getting him dressed. But his dad has a pretty big head too so on my way not surprised
