Long contractions
Anyone else have really long contractions? I'm 37+4 and have only had three things that feel like contractions so far -- one last week in the afternoon that lasted about 5 minutes, one that same night around 2am that lasted like 20+ minutes and made me throw up, and one just now that lasted about 10 minutes. It never even occurred to me to look up if this was normal or not until just now and apparently it's not lol... but I'm having weekly ultrasounds and weekly midwife visits and they keep saying everything looks good, so I'm not really worried... just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this?

Yes. I had this happen to me on Friday and again today. I’m almost 36 weeks. I think they are false labor pains and mine were just that, painful. This is my second pregnancy so I know what contractions feel like, and it had me keeled over on Friday in so much agony until it let up. Anything I googled said, labor could be hours or weeks away. Thanks internet. lol. Hope you’re doing okay, you got this! Body is getting ready more than likely.

Those to me sound like Braxton hicks I had cramps like that around 20 weeks and was seen for them and that what they told me. Now I'm in early labor and those contractions are way different
