Mines does the same very little words his pediatrician said to give him time? Till 18 months but I do get worried
Not at all! 🙃the verbal communication will come more when he’s ready
same here! he’s exposed to multiple languages at home so i always expected his speech to be a bit delayed but i do worry if it’s all too much & we’ve set him far behind his peers. seeing those 15 month olds speaking in full sentences online doesn’t help my anxiety either but 🥲
It’s normal for some babies not to speak until they’re a bit older. Also girls tend to talk sooner and better than boys. My oldest son was saying more words at 16 months than my youngest. But my youngest babbles a lot and says thanks, mama, dada, pizza, Bluey, and Coco. Give him some more time! He’s doing great with signs! Mine isn’t interested even though we’ve been doing baby signs for at least 6 months.
Mine literally says mama, dada, elmo, moo, neigh, meow, dog, and duck. So basically nothing useful 🤣🤣🤣 we just roll with it. Gotta let them figure it out in their own time!
He’s doing better than mine! My Dec baby only knows hi/bye, more, want and that’s about it 😅 also not talking but babbles like his life depends on it. I’m also concerned about his development too though.
