Hey there, Love some curley hair! I am far from an expert but actually got this advice from a friend of mine who said my hair is curly (Eventhough I only considered it as light waves) and she showed me a type of routine to let the curls come out. Starting off would be using a shampoo as well as conditioner for curly hair. I often make sure to have brushed/combed hair before taking a shower as that reduced the frizz. After taking a shower, best to use a microfiber towel. I often keep my hair pretty soaking wet and hang my head upside down. This is where you can use styling cream/gel/ Hair mouse and kinda crunch the hair while holding head upside down. You can turn the head a bit side ways and then use a blow dryer which also has the volumizing top and use that to dry the hair a bit. The type of product you use definitely makes an difference! I often use some hair oil and volumizing hair mouse and curly gel. Eventhough noticed that it makes my hair a bit heavy and requires shower more often.

So test out different products. When I was back in the Netherlands I used my brothers hair gel and that made the curls stick amazingly so that my sister even asked if I had a perm! Still hoping to find one like that here in Canada. Hope this helps a little!
