Anyone started to introduce games to their lo?

My son who will be 2 in May is starting to play Minecraft 😂 I'm actually impressed how quickly he has started to pick up how to move and jump. Another 6 months and I will have a gaming buddy.

They've seen me with my board games out a few times and take a look at the cards and pieces 😂

Dad got her Peppa and paw patrol on his computer. Whenever he turns it on now she starts barking or oinking 🤣

We have a few games or 3 year old is interested in (No Man's Sky, Construction Simulator) but keyboard and mouse is a bit much for him to coordinate yet so he helps but the help is mostly telling whoever is playing what to do. He had a game where you click on letters and they react (which he likes) and he enjoys typing letters and numbers - recently moving to typing actual words that he knows. We've been looking out for a cheap USB wheel that he will be able to try driving with. And I expect he will be getting the Bluey game for Christmas or thereabouts.

@Faith have a look at lingokids they have new games for lo, We love baby bot. My son is a bit young for their games but I am trying to help his hand eye coordination and verbal commands while playing with the controller.

My son plays Mario kart with me on the switch. He doesn’t press any of the buttons but still loves ‘playing’. I don’t understand how but some races he hasn’t come last and has even come 7th a couple of times 😅 He does sometimes watch us play games. I can’t wait until we can properly play games with him. Edit to say he is two years old

We started my 5 year old playing when he was 3. Paw patrol, Crash bandicoot, Spyro, Toy Story, Lego games. They pick it all up so well at that age. I'm blown away by how amazing he is at gaming now. We have found now we have to be super strict with how long he's allowed to play and it can cause some problems occasionally. But staying firm with it and he's not too bad. Me and my husband are gamers so we knew it was inevitable that our son would be too.
