Blood in poop? Poop photo*
Hi everyone, apologies for the photo.
Would you think this is blood in our baby poop? We gave her the other day a pouch of tomato pasta so obviously it contained a lot of tomatoes.
*I had to press it to be like this as it was sort of like a hard lump and the red bits were only on the inside.
I can see some small bits and I think it might be from that? Anyone had this before with their babies? It worries me a bit but she is acting normal and happy so I thought I’ll wait for another day or so before going to the GP.

When blood is in their poo from a problem with their gut it's usually stringy or jelly like rather than like this but if you're concerned best thing would be to get a doctor/HV to look and advise!
Would say it’s tomato. My LB eats whole tomato’s and for a few days after he has this in his poo. The first time I seen it I was terrified and sent photos to everyone 😂 then remembered he’d had tomato’s x
Thank you so much ladies! Xx I really think it’s from the tomato too but of course, I’ll keep an eye in her with this. It’s funny how many things can make us worry with a baby😅 also how many photos of poop I have in my phone🤕🤣

I had this exact scare with my LB when his dad gave him watermelon 🍉!!! His poo was red & I panicked & thought it was blood but it was just what he ate. He gets it with sweet potato & carrots & beans now as well 🥲🤣 I would say if she ate tomato’s yesterday that most likely what it is. I’d keep an eye on her next couple & see if it happens again. But their poops are gross now they eat solids
