Washing baby clothes

What’s people’s opinions with washing baby clothes, they currently all look so fresh and I’m so scared to ruin them when washing them.

I've washed, dried and ironed mine so look fresh and ready to wear 🥰 would always recommend washing just because you don't know where the clothes have been prior or who else has touched them or what they've been exposed too. But it's all personal preference

Definitely wash, they could’ve been stored in a warehouse or anywhere collecting dust and other things that you don’t want your baby breathing in

Deffinetley wash all of them, they contain chemicals. You can read more about it in Google.

Not washed mine yet but was advised by my mum to wash on low heat for a short time to get all the dust & dirt out then iron to kill any bacteria!

Ive washed them, 20 degrees gentle wash and I’ve added dettol for laundry just to be safe they are sanitised

What temp does everyone wash on 30/40? I noticed 30 made them look better, 40 made them feel like they went abit bobbly x

@Tiff I wash everything on 30 degrees 🙂

What does everyone use to wash babies clothes? And did you use fabric conditioner? X

@Shannice fairy fabric conditioner most other brands have a baby on the from so assume it’s okay x

@Shannice I wash all my clothes with white vinegar and soda crystals 🙂

People think more detergent means cleaner clothes, it actually just means more chemical residue that then your skin absorbs and it’s not good for you. I try to use only really small amounts of detergent - fairy non-bio , no softener - as it’s just more chemicals or just good old bicarb soda and white vinegar.
