@Andy that's not universal. It's LA and NYC only currently.
@Chrissy yeah I was checking Uber and there is no option for that 🥲
@Leysi it's up to you what to do though. There's some lightweight rear facing car seats you can buy but that's another seat to have sitting around. You can technically go seatless but that's obviously not ideal and some Uber drivers will deny you. The easiest for you would probably be drop your husband off if you can and have the car on appointment days.
@Chrissy i agree, if you can drop your husband off and have the car seat on days you need to go somewhere(if you don’t have a friend or family member that can take you) that would probably be best. That, or put baby in the stroller and opt for public transit or walking (depending how far it is)
Are you able to take your husband to work on the days you have appointments so you have the car seat that your baby does fit in? I'm pretty sure it isn't safe to have your baby in the infant seat if they have maxed out the height and weight of it, but I could be wrong. Or maybe take the bus since the bus doesn't require baby to be in a carseat?
That is what I used to do, is just that I forgot that my son have an appointment today, I was super stressed and arrived late. But yes that’s what I will do, it will be so good if there was a car seat stroller compatible for big babies in case of emergency. Anyways I’m trying to get a car soon, hopefully 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Uber has an option for Uber car seat, you just have to reserve an hour before needed.
