I do understand how you could feel the imposter feeling bc baby’s are so expressive with their eyes and it’s how they connect non verbally
I'm not sure but I think it's normal for babies to look like their dads when born, I know it's really unfair when you're the one who literally created the baby inside your body, birthed them with your body, feed them with your body etc and then they just look like a carbon copy of the dad. I can imagine it probably feels like someone gets the reward for someone else's hard work, and yeah imposter syndrome puts it well too. Sometimes babies and children might resemble one parent more at birth (usually the dad) but that can change throughout their life. It sucks that nature has given us the middle finger up by making things this way, but try if you can to focus on the parts that look like you, and also remember she is literally your flesh and blood and 100% your creation.
Let her marinate! My second cousin looked like a splitting image of her father for the first 3 years of her life but now she’s in high school she predominantly looks like her mother. Granted she does have her fathers eye color/hooded eye shape but the bone structure of her face, side profile, fat distribution and the spacing of her features make her look more like her mother.
