Nursery pick up

Does anyone give their LO's a snack after picking up from nursery. My 3 year old will ask for something to eat as soon as we get in the car although she would have had a snack 60-90 mins ago. Does it affect dinner time if they do eat a snack and what time do you do dinner

My daughter stays till 1pm, they have lunch from 12.15 onwards and I usually bring her a snack at the pick up. She usually naps after preschool and then would get a little smth after she wakes up and dinner usually between 5.45-6.30 depending on her nap. Some days she skips it

@Guzel we're a no nap day. Pick up is 3.30 and I like to get dinner ready by 5-5.30 latest

Our little one often has a snack after nursery. We pick up about 5. He may have a little something on the way home, but if the weather is nice then we will go to a nearby playground with some of his friends from nursery for a bit and often some snack sharing. Sometimes he isn't hungry so we only give him a snack if he asks. We normally eat a bit after 6 ish, depending on what we are having and whether we have gone to the playground. Sometimes, if we are at the playground it is more a picnic than a snack, but otherwise whether he had a snack didn't seem to really effect his tea - if he is hungry he eats both, if a isn't he doesn't tend to want either. There have probably been a few times when he had some snack and then isn't hungry but that is quite rare.

My little boy is always starving so he will eat when he comes home (5.30 ish) and again at 7/ 7.30 for dinner with the family. But even his nursery say he is a kid who loves food so he might a bit of an anomaly and he is one that goes to bed later (always has been)
