The nicer areas of Walsall (in my opinion) are Aldridge/Pelsall but they're gonna be more expensive. Rushall, Walsall Wood, Clayhanger are fairly nice and more affordable. I'd avoid Blakenall, most of Bloxwich, Caldmore, Walsall Town centre, Pleck, Delves/ Yew Tree Estate. If you can afford to go out of Walsall more I would, there's nicer surrounding areas
I’m from Walsall and I agree with the previous comment, I was originally from one of the areas and relocated to Aldridge, Aldridge is a safer area with lower crime, peaceful and clean next to the village with better ratings with schools with ofsted
Thank you guys so much. I have a property to find.x
I agree with Ashley. If you willing to go a bit further out of walsall and slightly towards Cannock, Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley are nice little villages with countryside and good schools (in my opinion) but depends what you mean by inexpensive - compared to London, most likely cheaper x
I used to live in walsall, I agree with Ashley's comment. Better areas are pelsall/Aldridge/ Walsall wood is a decent area and Millfield primary is a pretty good little school, my son used to go to nursery there. Brownhills isn't meant to be great but I lived there for almost 3 years and had no issues whatsoever. I would avoid the centre of Walsall (I lived there and witnessed a lot of fights/drug users hanging around and using outside my flat car park 🙈/dealings etc. Caldmore & Bloxwich are also meant to be worse areas. I live in Lichfield now and it's so so much better. I would also recommend Great barr or sutton coldfield to Walsall, im not sure how much more expensive in comparison it is but they aren't far from Walsall and are better areas. I think you'll notice a big price difference from London anyway :)
I live in wednesbury/walsall its okay here tbh there are loads of great schools round here wood green academy and wood green primary
