Blood loss & tightenings 37+4

I’ve had a bloody loss this morning and having some tightenings, nothing painful but enough to be uncomfy

I had a section 16 months ago, scheduled for another in 2 weeks. Every midwife and consultant I have seen has said first sign of blood especially if that comes with tightening I need to call and go in…. So I just called triage and the midwife said ‘don’t worry it’s normal no need to be checked’ I explained the situation with my sections and it just sounded like she couldn’t be arsed 😂

I’m sure it’s normal but to experience a loss and then be told don’t worry, is worrying me 🤣 has anyone had anything similar just would like some peace of mind x

I'd keep ringing and demand politely to be seen.

I would phone again and say you want to be checked. Especially if you've been told by other midwives and your consultant to get seen. Make sure they know that.
I would probably just say your on your way in

I called back and they told me I didn’t call this morning!!
Because the first person I spoke with didn’t take any details there was no record and they said for me to come straight it… no idea who I spoke with but how frustrating x

So not pregnancy related but a weird similar story.

My dad had a massive heart attack and was hospitalized. Went for surgery and we were told he'd be kept under for a while because of the severity of it all. So at lunch I'd call the hospital for an update. One day I called and told that he's awake and I can talk to him! So I spoke to someone (a male) and he seemed confused but I mean I figured with the drugs in his system that makes sense.

I call my mom all excited and she's like "I called this morning and he's still out and they're considering a feeding tube at this point."

I call back the hospital and they confirmed that my dad was still out. They had no idea who I was transferred to to speak with. Absolutely none. 😶

So now I just hope that whoever I spoke to did have a daughter who is in his life and does love him and that I made his day just a little bit better. If confused? 😆

I'm glad they're seeing you. Sounds serious for any pregnancy let alone one that should (?) be a C-section.
