Confused with reading ovulation strips

TTC 2.5 weeks after MMC and started using ovulation strips .. does the line have to be darker to indicate ovulation? Or is it like a pregnancy test and any line is good? Thank you šŸ«¶šŸ»

The test line has to be darker than the control line to indicate ovulation. There is normally always a second line on LH tests.

Oh okay @Olivia thank you!

@Olivia that is not true. Mine were not

The line does NOT have to be darker than the control!! Just use an app to log your tests! I barely had any LH at all but I still had a peak day and got pregnant!

I tend to use digitals when trying to conceive however I have also used test strips. The line typically had to be darker than the one youā€™ve pictured. So you have any ovulation symptoms normally?

@Tiffany thatā€™s good news thank you !!

@Gemma I might buy digital as itā€™s confusing all these lines šŸ˜‚ and sort of I have slight lower back pain which usually indicates ovulation however i usually get a lot of egg white discharge thatā€™s what happened for my previous pregnancy that was the only indication of ovulation I never did testing however I have only had a very small amount of discharge so I thought I should try testing so I donā€™t miss it this month!!

Where did you get the ovulation tests that work with the app?? I keep seeing it posted but not sure what it is ?? @Tiffany

@Isabella yea I mean after my miscarriage I had the pain but no discharge and I definitely ovulated as I got pregnant again but sadly MC. My friend also gave me the pre mom easy@home tests so I am trying those out this month xx

@Gemma im sorry that would of been so hard ā˜¹ļø how long was your break between miscarriages if you donā€™t mind me asking x

@Isabella I left it one cycle between each miscarriage as recommended really by the GP. Didnā€™t make any difference anyway šŸ¤ xx

@Gemma are you still trying ? I hope you get your rainbow baby so soon šŸ’–

@Isabella not at the moment chick. I miscarriage just over three weeks ago. I havenā€™t had a period yet. Iā€™m also waiting for the fertility clinic so canā€™t get pregnant in the meantime, otherwise if I miscarry again, itā€™s going to cause more heartbreaks and reset the clock for waiting for the bloods etc xx

@Isabella thank you! We really hope to try again at some point this year! My little boy will be such a good big brother. Hope you get your rainbow baby too xx

Yea same I had my MMC 3 weeks 4 days ago and started trying 2 weeks after my D&c I couldnā€™t wait anymore and my doctor said itā€™s okay to start trying 2 weeks after so itā€™s all just a waiting game itā€™s so hard and very confusing šŸ˜•šŸ«¶šŸ» @Gemma

I also have a beautiful boy who would be the best brother makes it both easier and harder at the same time !! So strange to me how my first pregnancy was so easy and now not so easy but seems itā€™s so common !

@Isabella yea, thereā€™s nothing wrong with not waiting! They just said because my periods are longer, it would be easier to date the pregnancy but it doesnā€™t really matter much! I hope you catch with a sticky baby this time šŸ¤žšŸ¼šŸ¤žšŸ¼ MCs are so much more common then we think or I ever expected really. I just want to make sure Iā€™m as healthy as I can be with a 2 year old hanging off my leg šŸ¤£ before we try for the next xx

@Isabella aww thatā€™s so lovely šŸ¤ us boy moms are blessed! Yea same here, first pregnancy, first time pregnancy no issues etc ā€¦ such a minefield xx
