What to do with freezer stash!

I’ve been exclusively pumping for about 6 months and have an entire freezers worth of milk stashed as my son wasn’t drinking much and I over produced. However, the first batches are going out of date this month. On the daily, I now make exactly enough to cover so I’m not currently freezing any. To avoid waste, would it be best to use the frozen stash and start freezing my current production? I do not intend to use this milk for baths due to high lipase and my son has extreme eczema which reacts to it. I’m thinking of beginning to wean off pumping completely as I should have enough now to get us through to year!

I would use the frozen stash and then freeze the up to date milk / use in weaning.

I second Lisa. If you have any which are going out of date soon you could use it in things like porridge and mashed potato for the little one :)

We do freezer days every now and then to replace the stash, so for now I'd just use only freezer and then freeze your fresh :)
