I wear two tops… a strappy top and a baggy one over the top. Pull top layer up and strappy top down. Thats what do, literally just uncovers a boob and you can let your top hang over your boob to keep it covered :) x
Depends how comfortable you are I guess, I feed anywhere & everywhere and have never used a cover x
I do exactly the same as @Elishah! Strappy top with a nursing clip and a nursing bra with a baggy top. Keeps your stomach covered & baggy top drops over their head. There’s a small bit of flashing involved when you latch them on, but tbh it’s a second and it’s done. I used to use a Muslin cloth but I felt that just drew attention to me.
I found a baggy t shirt to lift up with nursing bra a lot easier than any nursing tops. I'd get my boob out under my top then have her head in front of my boob as I pulled my top up and she covered anything. Also planning around feeding her places where you feel comfortable and relaxed helps and knowing that 99% of people don't notice or care. Also the more women breastfeeding in public the more it's normalised and less of a thing 😊
Same as others have said I do a vest top underneath something I can easily lift up. When it's too warm for that I did find a large muslin cloth was good over the shoulder the side you're feeding and you can hold it up over baby while they're latching because then they're covered but you can see. I think a good tip if you want to be discreet is cover your boob not the baby. Baby's head covers most of you and it just looks like you're holding/cuddling baby. With my first I hated feeding in public I was so self conscious but with my second I've realised no one actually cares or notices.
I normally wear a BF vest top underneath a jumper but when it’s been warm, I’ve been tucking a corner of a muslin to the top of the strap on my vest top and use the rest of the muslin to cover boob/LO whilst BF xx
As others have said a top underneath that you can pop your boob out the top of and a baggy top/jumper to flop over...sometimes I just don't care and I'll just get it out 🤷♀️ I'll still try to be modest, but if it is hot I'm not that bothered as baby is latched on! X
