Does anyone else’s baby do this?

I noticed in the past couple of weeks my son started shaking his arm at random times during the day. We started using musical shaker balls and he loves them, so I am not sure if it’s that or possible early signs of stimming? He is VERY vocal, makes eye contact all the time, and not behind on his milestones. Just a little worrisome that it’s a repeating thing that came out of nowhere. Does anyone else’s baby do this or other things like this??

My baby does this! Sometimes he will be laying in his crib for a nap and just suddenly start aggressively flailing his arms similar to that but harder lol. I think its a perfectly normal developmental thing!

Yes! Looks like waving. :) my baby does this, too.

Mine does this to music, she’s just enjoying herself. It is WAY too early to know if your child has autism. Please take a deep breath and enjoy your baby.

Mine does this but with both arms at the same time. We call it his happy hands 😅 he does it when he’s excited

Probably just waving. Absolutely developmentally normal

Bodily awareness. Moving their bodies and seeing what they do

It looks like he’s waving! My baby started randomly doing it a month or so ago cause I would always randomly wave at her so I guess she eventually learned lol. Her arm used to do the exact same thing when she was first learning how to wave, but it’s gotten better over time! He is just learning a new skill!!

My baby boy does this to wave🥰

All normal but I'm also glad our playmat is not the only one with empty drink bottles. Iykyk lol

@Lara we use any empty bottles and make sensory bottles out of them!! We just fill ours with things like rice and pasta and stuff so they either make noise or have things like pom poms floating in them!!

Thank you all sooo much for all your input!!! Definitely calmed my nerves down! I appreciate you all!

Yes ill mix stuff in ours also...so cheap and hes obsessed.
