Its a binky/ pacifier brand thats supposed to be better for teeth and gums than other brands Have you gotten her off of the binky during the day? I find that part is first like ok we are getting dressed put the binky on the bed. And start not giving it if she gets hurt offer popcicles or lollipops instead. If you’ve already gotten rid of it during the day… when shes sleeping can you take it away? Like will she let go?
I went cold turkey with my son. We didn't have the orthopedic one, so it was starting to mess up his teeth. I took it and told him my dad's calves needed it. The first few nights were rough, but after a couple of weeks he stopped randomly asking for it.
@Monica yeah, she's pretty much off it during the day. I've used it here and there in an emergency situation. But around 6 she will ask for it and we do the Popsicles but as soon as it's gone, she asks for her nuk back. I could take it at night but if she woke up she would want it and cry. I know I'm the problem because at daycare she never asks and doesn't even use it at nap... ugggh. This might be a long few days..
@Tiffany I know that's what I should do. I was able to keep it from her all night but I did give it to her for bed..
Cut the end off it
Ive heard cutting it helps, because it wont be the same after it cuts so won't take it after that. But you do have to be careful once you cut it no pieces etc. I saw a post the other day on here and a few people said they told the baby that its yuck and to throw it in the bin and that worked but that obviously depends on how old ur little one is. Maybe switch to just giving it at night at first for sleep and then once ur baby is asleep, take it out and during the day hide it that way ur getting rid of it slowly and might work better
What’s a nuk?
