Safe or not?

Had a playdate with baby girl and they played in the creek. Is there anything dangerous with this? Also I was or my friend was supervising the entire time but is there something I should be aware of ?

As long as baby girl ain’t swallow the water, I don’t see nothing wrong. But I’d be careful if she’s got any cuts or scrapes, too many parasites in the water. From the picture the water looks perfectly fine.

I mean I’m a FTM so I’m no expert but it seems safe to me - we did this all the time when we were kids. Just watch for glass and pollution that could slip into her lil shoes and let the kid get dirty ❤️

Beware of water being unusually warm and stagnant. Pretty sure there’s a parasite that can live in warm freshwater that can be extremely dangerous

There’s always potential for chemical run off from fields etc but I for us their childhood is worth tons more than being too scared to enjoy life. A good scrub down for the W!

Just watch out for ticks or upset belly symptoms. They should be all right as long as they have super close eyes on them and the water isn’t rushing or deep.

Ummm definitely could be. But I second the first comment. Be sure she has no cuts or scrapes that parasites could enter into her body. Also don’t let her touch the water and put her hands in mouth, splash in her eyes etc.

As long as the water source is safe it should be fine! Definitely best if she doesn’t have any open wounds and does not ingest the water. 😊

So if you can't see the bottom, make sure they have good shoes so you can make sure they don't get cut on rocks or something that should be there. No open wounds, and making sure it isn't stagnant water. Also bug spray/repellent. And obviously don't drink it or let it go up their nose

We took my 2 year old nephew with us hiking last summer at a state park, and we were all in the water. The water was clear and covered our feet similar to your picture. He was fine and still is. He loved it! It's good for them, but yeah, just check for ticks, including in the hair.

Sometimes broken glass is in the shallow parts of populated ponds, creeks or rivers so those shoes are perfect
