Baking soda bath

OTC stool softener, water, and prune juice.

Prunes, dates, pears, pear juice.

I’ve had HORRIFIC constipation since 8 weeks and it’s honestly been so painful and made me so bloated. I’m now on senna (at night) and then laxido sachets and lactulose for stool softening…. I’m still struggling but it’s slightly better 😭

Dried prunes, handful every day, made a HUGE difference for me

I have to drink Laxido daily to keep things running smoothly. Drink around 2L of water a day, and (if you don’t have GDM) drink as much OJ or prune juice as possible

Prunes and drink plenty of water. Also, eating porridge and oates helped. Apple a day!

My doctor recommended miralax as needed, but that if it doesn't work to attack from the bottom up with a ducolax suppository. It's not the most comfortable thing in the world but it does help to get things moving. As far as trying to stay regular fiber, stool softener like colace, and lots of water are your friends.

I suffered from constipation also but since I started taking gentle iron supplements, it stopped 🙌🏼

What usually works for me is either a cup of hot tea or like half a cup of hot regular coffee

I just bought Fybogel orange sachets. They come up on nhs and say they are safe for pregnant women. You just have to drink a lot of water throughout the day and it’s supposed to help. Also eating anything that’s high in fibre. I think mines worse because I take a high dose of iron which causes constipation for me x
