Labor signs

What was everyone’s pre labor signs/ symptoms leading up to labor? I’m currently 38 weeks and just looking for what’s common to expect before hand. And yes I know that contractions are the only “true” sign so please don’t comment that!!

Period like cramps! Before I started getting contractions i had will period cramps all day. Nothing really uncomfortable but noticeable. They didn’t come and go it was like a dull ache all day which then turned into contractions

i’ve had period cramps for like 2 weeks now on & off & i still haven’t started true contractions 😩

Following! I’m a little over 38 weeks today and been having lotssss of period cramps with a few contractions for days. Not sure what else to look for

@Brianna Le bas same here.

Signs could be Braxton hicks contractions but they're not consistent. Another early sign could be lightning crotch pain... this could start like at 36-37 weeks. Then anytime after 37 weeks you'll loose your mucus plug, water breaks and consistent labor contractions. This is just from my experience with my first pregnancy. Every mama is different though.

Some may experience like nausea, vomiting and loose bowel movements before labor contractions too

@Diana i'm experiencing these all symptoms, But pains are bearable.

Im experiencing nausea but no vomiting for the past 2 days, and stomach pain

I know that I had loose bowel movements for like 2 weeks before, a day or two before I got so hungry like nothing could satisfy my hunger and I would eat a TON of food, my body got achy a week before, I struggled with insomnia for a week or so before and I had cramps for a few days. It was the same for both of my pregnancies. It’s different for every person but there are some symptoms that seem pretty common!

You will have bad back pain and really bad cramps like for me I felt my baby move lower

Low backache was for me. But mine kinda came on suddenly after having sex so I didn’t have a ton of pre symptoms with my first. Still waiting for my second one to come.
