Wooden Crates

Watching my mom hand design wooden rocking chairs for baby showers really got me interested in learning to draw and really be creative. As i got older and my friends were having kids i started doing it myself. My first project was a wooden stepstool (cowboy themed but really Woody from Toy Story themed). Then i tried a wooden sign for my god son making it simple so they can add stickers or stamps of places they’ve been around the world. Eventually working on crates. Recently did an Alabama Crimson Tide crate for my best friend (mother of my god son), a panda and red panda theme for my sister in law, llama themed for one of my friends, and a humming bird and butterfly themed for my mom! I guess i can only post one picture at a time ( im not seeing the option to post multiple as i type this). So i guess I’ll post the rest in the comments😅 all are sanded down (by hand) and hand drawn/painted. I always ask what colors they want me to use and if there’s anything specific they want added like names of baby, specific animals, phrases, etc.
