Eggs yes tuna no
Not tuna yet - but we did eggs, dairy, and peanut butter to cover the big allergens
We tried to introduce eggs at his normal meal time but by the time they were done he decided he needed an early nap đđ€Šđ»ââïž
My son likes eggs, but havenât tried tuna yet
Tuna has a high level of mercury. I won't be giving her that.
@Samantha curious how you introduced them?
@Aisha Eggs I've given scrambled and hard boiled. Small pieces when scrambled and of the hard boiled egg white. The yolk, when boiled, basically makes a paste that's easy to feed. Dairy he's had cottage cheese and yogurt. Peanut butter I let him munch on bamba. It's a puff snack - like cheetos but with peanut butter.
What about if you mix tuna and egg??
@April really good point! We have some eggs and I plan to introduce sardines soon because theyâre really now in mercury
We did eggs and peanut butter for the high allergens first no tuna yet
Tuna yes. My baby sucked on some eggs. But she did not want to chew it, and I did not want to push it.
@Incognito you could mix them, but the potential issue with that is if baby has a reaction. Then you don't know which food was the culprit.
@Shannon sardines are a good source of vitamins and fats
@April we are big fans in this house! âTuna saladâ using sardines is also so much more flavorful! Canât believe it took me until my 30s to try them!

I've done both but little one wasn't so keen on tuna
My daughter has her allergy testing Wednesday so once I do that and find out if sheâs allergic to anything I will start doing eggs.
Negative. Still on purĂ©es we have a dairy allergy so have been instructed to stay on a strict diet until we know what heâs mostly allergic to
Both! Baby loves eggs but not tuna too much
