Weaning not taking off

My LG is really not taking on weaning well, I see other babies eat huge plates and still 8oz x 4-5 times and I'm just so so defeated. She maybe has a few bites and couple of spoonful but issue is she is also going off milk. We are lucky if she drinks 400ml. I'm just at a loss I know every baby is different but surely she needs to eat? So so anxious about all of this!

My little girl won’t entertain solids at all she’s nearly 9 months old and will only eat puree I’m at a loss to, people just keep telling me she will do it when she is ready x

My little boy isn't taking to solids great either, won't entertain anything puree or off a spoon but will give finger foods a go from time to time but very rare he will eat anything x

My daughter has been the same up until now. She’s 9 months and has only just started tolerating the 4 months Ella’s pouches. Whereas before she would eat absolutely nothing xx

That's such a nice thing to hear (as nice as this situation can be) that we are not the only ones. Just very worried about her nutrition intake in general and worried about her not liking solids. I mean I don't think she doesn't like them she just plays with it and smashes it I just don't know what to do to help :(

My little girl is 8.5 months, she’ll have a bite of toast in the morning, maybe a couple of spoonfuls of a pouch of fruit, then a max of a couple of mouthfuls of whatever for dinner, mostly it gets thrown on the floor. As long as she’s putting on weight, milk is their main source until 12 months, they’re just experimenting at the moment, so any food is good but nothing to worry about too much. The doctor told me my daughter should be having 3 meals a day and was shocked when I told her what she eats, yet she’s gaining weight really well, she’s exclusively breastfed and my HV said it’s experimental. So try offering daily but don’t worry if she doesn’t consume much ☺️ milk wise, maybe try offering it in a cup? Something other than her bottle? x

My boy was the same until maybe a few weeks ago when he suddenly became a lot more interested in food. He’s now interested in what me and my partner eat to the point he will complain if we don’t offer him what we have. I’d heard other babies doing this but he hadn’t and I felt like I was getting it all wrong. Each baby is different and develops at their own pace. If they are interested in foods you eat try to offer a bit off your plate to see if that makes any difference? Are you eating meals together?
