@Amy I think she might! She’s always arching her back and gags quite often. Is there a fix to this? What do you find helps your son?
@Trinity bless her it’s really horrible to see. His breath smells like vinegar (from the acid) and he screams during feeding/after. We feed him in an ‘elevated side lying’ position and we also have gaviscon for him as well which makes it some what better he’s been having it from 3 weeks old and I used to be more effective but as he is getting bigger it seems to have less of an effect unfortunately. They can also prescribe omeprazole which stops so much acid coming up. Some other tips are pace feeding and burping between feeds. Sometimes with my little boy if I burp him in the middle of feeding he won’t continue to feed because the burping clearly makes him uncomfortable (he pulls a funny face)
They can fuss over the smallest thing sometimes temperature of the milk can solve the problem. However my little boy has silent reflux and has these symptoms xx
