Daycare Special

RSV at Christmas Since January- 2 ear infections and 3 eye infections, first 2 were pink this one is probably a secondary eye infection from an URI. Thankfully she is growing great, sleeping, eating, and diapers are all good. No fevers. Smiley and social as ever. This girl better have the immune system of a horse by her first birthday.

My youngest son was going through the same. I pulled him out of daycare & My Mom is watching him until he is 12 months or 18 mo ths at the latest before I put him back into daycare again

Sorry your little one is going through the same stuff

@Veronica Glad you were able to do that. We don't have family near by right now, in laws are 45 minutes away and my parents are 4 hours. We could ask church people but I don't want to impose too much on their generosity.

@Clara our Grandparents drive from an hour away to care for our little one 🙏🏼

@Clara I get it. Sorry love

Same here girl.. 2 very nasty stomach flu, she had diarrhea on and off for a whole month.. and a very severe diaper rash because of that.. but she is past that and i think with summer we will finally catch a break

@Alejandra Oh yeah, and diarrhea once. Agreed! Hopefully summer comes with a break from all this.

@Clara the worst part was that we also got it.. my husband threw up so much with that stomach flu that the little veins around his eyes exploded and he looked like he had been in a street/fist fight or something.. 🫠😭😭

We went through the same the first couple months of daycare! It was brutal but we’ve been on a pretty good run for the past couple of weeks… 🙏🏻

My baby also had stomach virus the second week he started daycare. And since his third week, constant runny nose and coughing. I feel so bad. I know his immune system is getting stronger but I get really heartbroken every time I hear his cough or whenever he has a hard time breathing while drinking formula because of congestion. I don’t want to send him to daycare but nanny or grandparents are not available options for us.
