Do mean 20 wk scan?

Yep if you mean 20 week yes. Had the scan and placenta was low and covering the exit so had to have another scan in 8 weeks from then and then another in 4 weeks from that date and it didn’t move so they planned my section. Then before they would do the section I would have a routine ultrasound to double and triple check it hadn’t moved which the midwife basically told me was impossible and not even a week before my planned C section my placenta did what they said wasn’t going to happen and it moved not much but enough I didn’t need a section anymore xx

@charlotte oh, your ultrasound sounds so much more regular. I found out at 20 weeks I have a low lying placenta and then I had to wait til I’m 30 weeks for my next ultrasound and then as they couldn’t see properly whether the placenta has moved enough I now need to wait til I’m 36 weeks for my next scan. Which I think is cutting it a bit fine to know whether I need a c section or not.

@Jessica Had one at 20 weeks but the one that specifically checks the positioning of the placenta was at 30 weeks.
