Formula to the hospital?

I’m due in July and thinking through our hospital bag. With my first, my girl had jaundice and had to try nursing, I pumped, then formula every single time she ate to get her to poop so the bilirubin would come out. Wasn’t prepared of course and didn’t bring formula I assume it was within the hospital cost. Should I bring formula, bottles etc for this baby? I planned to nurse to start (I nursed my daughter for 13 months). Anyone have any thoughts or should I just roll with it and if I need formula get from the hospital?

If the hospital didn't have it last time it might be better to take it with you just in case. My hospital gave it to us when we asked for it, it does seem weird a hospital wouldn't have any

They did have it last time! I guess my question is like do I need to bring any? I went in without it last time which is kind of assumptive I could nurse right out the gate lol glad I could but just curious if this is a practice others do

You shouldn’t have to bring any, the hospital gave me so much formula because my baby didn’t latch at first

Hosp should give you some

I wouldn’t bring any. Just roll with it. My daughter had jaundice and now the new baby didn’t.

You don’t have to bring any but if you have a specific formula you want to bring them definitely bring it

Ask the hospital. Ours provided it.

Ask the Hospital. When we were transferred to our room the nurse asked if we were formula or breast feeding so she could get us what we needed. They had premixed bottles of formula and donated breast milk for when we were having latching issues.
