Help šŸ˜¢

My baby has a raw/red area behind his knee in the crease. Iā€™m not sure what to put on it or what to do. Doesnā€™t seem to bother him but Iā€™m sure it will if it gets any worse. If this has happened to you, what did you do? Did it go away on its own? Please help!

Also, Iā€™ve wiped it a few times and let it dry but itā€™s hard to keep hair & things off of it. And I donā€™t want to keep wiping and cause more irritation.

Could just be a heat rash but if it has a smell and is in a area thy has moisture it could be a yeast infection, that is very common in babies since they have a lot of faults, but if it is that you can get cream and use it three times a day and in between baby powder to keep it dry and it will go away within like a day or two.

Wash with unscented soap once or twice a day and carefully dry completely every time. I would put a skin protectant like vasoline, eucerine, or aquafor or something similar that has no alcohol. If that makes it worse try an antifungal like a toe cream. If neither work then i would go to the dr. Cuz if you are in america you dont want to go in for something that isnt spreading and if baby isnt upset by it but you dont want to ignore it.

Aloe vera can help as well an cool compress and keep the area clean as well

I find nappy cream works well in these areas. Clean a couple of times a day and just dab a thin layer over

My son had this under his arms, I put anti bacteria soap then let it dry. Cleaned it about 4 times a day. Because of how big he was. He was 9 pounds and 11oz when born by the way then when this happen he was around 12 pounds. Very fat and rolls lol šŸ˜‚

My daughter had exactly the same and the chemist told me to keep it covered in sudocrem. I put it on at every nappy change and was gone within a week.
