Extra large hemorrhoids PP. How long did yours take to go?

Girls please tell me I’m not alone. Since having my little girl a couple of days ago I have very large hemorrhoids. I’m been doing the usual cream and suppositories as well as regular warm baths. Scared they’re never gonna go away 😭😭 it’s actually giving me so much anxiety. Anyone else get these so large and how long did they take to go away?

Depends on the grade apparently grade 3/4 need to be removed or stapled etc but afraid I don’t have any experience besides google with hemorrhoids.

Are the one with prolapse that you need to put them back with your hand? That probably needs to be removed by surgery. Just regular big one... I'm 3years pp and they are still there 😅 sorry. They get smaller at times but then I go to the loo and they are back. It has helped using the wee step to keep your feet high and I try not to bring my phone on the toilet so I don't go scrolling Instagram and stay there too much as this will make them bigger. Other than that sorry cannot help. If you really are uncomfortable you can speak with your GP and have them removed but if you want another kid then will probably come out again

Sorry, just realised you said you are only 3 days PP, there's still plenty of time!!! They could go away soon don't worry

@Alessia yeah there’s two big ones are they’re external. I’ve tried pushing them back in but I can’t 😭

they will still be swollen and sore if it’s only been 3 days , that’s not long enough for the swelling to go down babes . try to avoid touching them unless you are putting cream on . just keep up the warm baths if they help . once the swelling goes down and they aren’t sore you can try pushing them back in but in the long run if they irritate you they can be removed . but when swollen and sore those bad boys won’t go anywhere . let them calm down a bit xxx

I’ve had the exact same I couldn’t push them out either however mines cleared up on there own it was so bad x

At 3 days you are still so swollen and sore, it’s hard but try not to worry just yet. Mine started to subside about 2/3 weeks pp and I’m now 8 weeks and much better. I just left well alone - I couldn’t even look I was too scared but midwife told me!

@Katie Ann where yours quite big? I was scared to look too and made the mistake of looking this morning and have been completely freaked out since 😫😂

@Sas yeah mines are large and quite hard. They’re horrible aren’t they 😭

@Katie thank you 🙏🏻 I think I’ve just looked and completely freaked when I seen the size of them

@Sas how long did they take to start clearing up?

About a week or 2 until they stopped being painful they gradually went on their own. Its all the pressure from pushing baby out. Your midwife should be able to give some advice when they come out. Its definitely one of the worst parts of pp🥲xxx

@Skylar what where yours like if you don’t mind me asking? Mines are external are large 😫😫😫

girl if you follow imogenhorton on insta , she just posted a video of getting hers removed by laser 💖💖 it was posted 3 hours ago xxx
