Is anyone’s baby still eating every 2hrs?

I’m having a really hard time with my baby who’s almost a month old, not settling due to reflux and maybe colic! He’s got the worst nappy rash and is constantly pooing. The poo’s seem normal in consistency, and he’s still feeding but has trapped gas and wind!etc. We were using infacol but saw online it can make reflux worse so instantly stopped. I’m trying to make a doctors appointment now to speak about the reflux. But due to all the combined issues, his feed times come round quickly and he’s practically starving every 2hrs and sometimes 1.5hrs. Maybe because he poo’s and pee’s so often and digests it quickly. Again, he doesn’t have diarrhoea. It’s all just exhausting as im done keeping in straight after feeds due to reflux, nappy changes and just soothing him, his next feel is due. And even I don’t wake him, he wakes up screaming for food. Literally goes 0 - 100 in 2secs. I’ve tried to do 3hr windows but it isn’t working for him. He basically has so many symptoms but because he’s feeding regularly and has wet nappies I don’t know what it is. Just exhausted! He is formula fed and I’ve changed from cow and gate to aptamil to now Kendamil. I don’t think he has a cow protein allergy. Any help would be appreciated. From a very exhausted, worried FTM!

How much is he getting in one feed? Our girl is 3 weeks old today but she's feeding every three hours, sometimes she goes 2 hrs during the day but night time is always 3 hrs. She's on Kendamil. Are you using any barrier cream for the nappy rash? Have you tried giving him some breaks from the nappy on a waterproof pad?

@Anda 90ml in one feed - he doesn’t always finish the bottles! How much is your LG on? I am using nappy cream and haven’t aired him out because his pee literally sprays the room! But may have to do just do it! How long do you allow them to sit without a nappy?

@Gemma thank you for this, I will try this!

If you have any breastmilk or colostrum that will help a sore bum x

@F. Mine eats 90ml too, and she's quite chunky. Shes been on Kendamil from the beginning maybe you might find now he will start to settle with Kendamil. Does he ask for more when you feed him? Have you tried 95-100? In terms of free nappy time I usually do 3 times a day about 5 mins. And when I put a new nappy I always check to be fully dry.

My little boy if breastfeeding and very rarely goes longer than 2 hours between feeds sometimes it can be just half hour , he’s going to be a month old on the 13th
