Is toddler repeating words a cause for concern?

I've started to notice lately that my daughter will repeat certain things sometimes. Yesterday, it was "people okay" she said it over and over for a few minutes and then stopped. Today, it was "green man". Is this normal behaviour?

At some degree, it is normal. It is a way to learn. How old is she and how is her vocabulary? If they do the same when they get a bit older and out of context, it would be something worth discussing with a GP.

She's almost 3 and speaks pretty well, I'd say

OK, then it is normal and should go away at about 4-5. If not, you may also find that other things are off too and then you can discuss it with your GP.

Thank you! :)
