My baby was the same weight at birth and is eating the same, I think all babies are different. My baby can eat 2 1/2 oz or 4 depends on how he’s feeling lol
That’s enough breastmilk if baby is content with no signs of dehydration. Take their weight multiply by 2.5 and that’s about how many oz they should be taking in throughout a 24 hour period. Divide that by how many feeds throughout the day. So baby should be taking 22 oz through the day with 9 feeds that’s about 70.8 ml per feed. Sounds like baby is right on track. Babies gain about 5-7 oz a week so gaining 2.5 lbs in 7 weeks is great.
Following because my baby has the same stats and ped said it was fine 👐
Born at 9 pounds, he now weighs 11 pounds and is 3 weeks. We also do breastfeeding and formula. Always eats around 3-4 oz.
My baby was born at 8lbs 10oz (8lbs 2oz when we left the hospital Last week at pediatrician (he was 4 weeks 1 day) he weighed 11lbs 0.5oz
I am also breastfeeding and it's hard to tell sometimes how much they eat. But as long as they are eating well, gaining weight and your pediatrician isn't concerned at all, you are doing good! Don't stress. If you want there are baby scales on Amazon, I had one for the first few weeks because I was worried she wasn't gaining weight but I returned it because trying to analyse and check her weight every day was stressing me out. She is eating and getting bigger and not crying from hunger. All that's needed.
First thing I want to say to any mother don’t stress about weight gain unless they are losing. My first born is just smaller and has always been in the 5-8% percentile. He was born 39w + 5 days, weighed 7lbs, 11oz. My newborn is in the 70th percentile. Born 8lbs, 6oz and at 5 weeks at 11lbs Literally each child is different. I hope this helps 😍🫶🏽
@Xena I pump and bottle feed or just breastfeed. in the day time she drinks every two hour about 70 ml At night she eat every 4 hrs
