Has anyone been diagnosed with PPD/PPA. I have PPA ,I was prescribed some medicine, but I'm not sure how I feel about it being that om breastfeeding.

Hi! I think it depends on the medicine, but if it’s an SSRI, it’s typically safe. I’m taking Zoloft and breastfeeding, and we haven’t had any issues:)

I have generalized anxiety and depression. I had it previously to getting pregnant and giving birth. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my baby is doing well. Your mental health is so important as a mom! Also, remember that your baby is only getting trace amounts of the med, not a full dose like you take. 🩷 hang in there momma!

I have been on Zoloft all through pregnancy and it was completely fine. But no matter what do what is best for you.
